Only through the generous support from donors are we able to provide long-term improvements for the people in Zambia. All donations are solely used for the benefit of the people and projects on location in Zambia. The iChange team and volunteers work on a voluntary basis and all project visits are paid for out of private funds. Transaction costs associated with conducting these projects are also covered by us out of personal funds.
Information about tax deductibility of donation
Donations made to iChange can be deducted on your Swiss tax return. Donors who have contributed an amount of CHF 100.00 or more during the preceding year will automatically receive a written donation acknowledgement letter. For donations below CHF 100.00 a donation acknowledgement letter is only issued upon explicit request by the donor.
You can also make a donation using our Paypal account. Please note that by doing so Paypal will deduct certain fees, over which iChange has no control. For donations made from within Switzerland these are 3.4% of your donated amount plus a fixed charge of CHF 0.55. For international donations, these amounts can vary. Please be assured that 100% of the remaining amount is used directly on location in Zambia, without any further deductions.
