Introduction of 6th Grade at Mackenzie Community School

After the successful completion of the construction of four new classrooms last year, this year marked a first at Mackenzie Community School – the official introduction of 6th grade! This achievement represents a major milestone towards ultimately offering full primary education (up to and including grade 7) for all students in the Mackenzie Community.

Our sincere thanks to the whole teaching team at the school under the guidance of headmaster Bright. In cooperation with the Ministry of General Education the team of teachers at Mackenzie Community School diligently completed all necessary administrative and regulatory steps in 2019 to enable the parallel teaching of all six grades at the school, beginning with the new school year 2020. This also meant an increase in our teaching staff to seven (one of our teachers is missing from the picture below due to sickness at the time the picture was taken).
